The GAMES INDUSTRY BUSINESS LOUNGE is the place to take care of your brand at gamescom since 2013. Step into your own, fully furnished meeting room and a lounge, designed to give you the space to focus on your business. Each of the meeting rooms comes fully equipped with lighting, electricity, WiFi, and can be proudly branded with your own design. Plus, your room includes a specific allocation of gamescom exhibitor passes.

In need of additional branding, hardware, or merch? We’ve got you covered and will gladly support you in your quest for a perfect showcase!  Located centrally in hall 2.2, the gibl also offers a lounge with food and drinks throughout opening hours. Meeting rooms are available from Wednesday, August 26 to Friday, August 28, giving you the ideal base to network at the heart of gamescom.

USECASE
Urban Games

For the launch of Transport Fever 3, Urban Games partnered with us to create a presentation space that felt nothing like a standard meeting room. After several planning sessions, we developed a two-room concept that translated their vision into an immersive brand experience inside gibl.

 

The first room welcomed guests with a custom-branded reception counter and a true eye-catcher: a real helicopter featured in the game, positioned at the entrance so visitors stepped straight into the Transport Fever world. A lounge corner with a small catering setup created a relaxed space for conversations and short breaks - staged with lighting and design accents aligned with the game’s visual identity.

 

The second room served as the dedicated demo space, equipped with six PC stations arranged exactly to Urban Games’ needs. Everything - from the layout and branding to the technical setup - was designed to create a focused, seamless environment for press-only hands-on sessions. The location inside the gibl offered two advantages at once: a quiet, controlled setting for demos and immediate access to the networking lounge for networking talks and follow-ups.

 

Before anything was built, we created detailed 3D renderings of the entire concept. This allowed Urban Games to explore the space in advance, refine ideas with us and make fast decisions - ensuring the final build matched the vision down to the smallest detail.

 

Throughout the process, we worked in close alignment with the Urban Games team, responding quickly to adjustments and special requests. Especially the helicopter became a photo hotspot for press and creators, and the demo room ran fully booked throughout gamescom. The Urban Games project shows how a standard space can become a fully customized brand world with the right concept, close collaboration and precise execution.
